The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we're entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we've distributed over $2 million to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
Trey told a story during the acoustic set about how he read a bad review about the band from a few nights before & their version of Voodoo Child was especially terrible. Trey delivered the punchline that they had not played Voodoo Child and you should not believe what you read on the internet.
The acoustic set continued then they rocked the second set.
On the to encore. The way I remember it, they came out, the fog machine was turned to 11, Trey played the first first notes and everyone's face melted. I don't recall Aqui Como Alla coming first but I could be wrong.
